Julie has four pleasures in life they are art, gardening, nature and technology. She will often be combining these in her creativity by creating art from the flowers she has grown, then photographed and finally tweaked on the computer. Her inspiration often comes through listening to or watching wildlife.
Although Julie went to college to study Art & Design and Visual Communication she wasn’t able to follow what she enjoyed as a career and it took nearly a decade before she returned to her favourite subjects to paint.
When Julie isn’t being creative she is growing on the allotments and has a large following on YouTube. 2017 will see Julie undertaking a new venture, a community garden she is planning and setting up. The idea came to Julie following her experiences as a carer. The project will offer carers and others in the community some basic art demonstrations using the garden as inspiration alongside some practical work outside.
